I would like to wish all my lovely Fitness Vibe class members past and present a happy and healthy 2022 x Here are a few pictures looking back on the crazy year of 2021. We have been online, outdoor, indoor, stopped, started, but thankfully we have been able to run live, face to face classes since 29th March 2021 continuously. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas with your loved ones. My daughter Erin was able to return home from London this year with restrictions easing so it was lovely. Fitness Vibe classes start again on Wednesday 5th Jan 2022. I’m looking forward to sharing wonderful times again this year as a fitness family. Happy New Year! Love from Katrina x
Once again we are having our Evening Christmas Zumba Bash on Thursday 16th December at Civic Hall, Cottingham. Always a lovely informal event, not to be missed.
Come along to Zumba as usual on the evening 6.30pm – 7.15pm £5 entrance (this includes a raffle ticket). The playlist will be all festive so Santa Hats, Elves etc most welcome but not essential. You are then invited to stay behind and join me for a glass of bubbly, buffet, entertainment and raffle. I have hired the hall until 10pm so feel free to stay for as long as you want. Some ladies just stay for an hour which is still lovely as I get the chance to chat with you all. The bar will be open for wine, beer and soft drinks at just £1 a drink! I am asking for £6.50 if you are staying for the buffet, entertainment etc. All monies must be in by Monday 13th December as the chef has to order the food.
It would be great if you could join me. Please note anyone wanting to just attend the Zumba class that evening just turn up as usual and its a simple pay as you go system £5 entrance.

Our annual Fitness Gold Macmillan Coffee Morning was held on Monday 15th November at the Church of Ascension. A great turn out as always. We managed to still get our exercise session in then local History expert Paul Schofield did an interesting talk/slide show on Hull’s Old Town.
Thanks to everyone who made the yummy cakes which were amazing. We finished the morning with our fabulous raffle that was bigger than ever.
Lots of cash was raised for the charity, well done everyone x
A big thank you to Elaine Welsh and Gaynor Dent who kindly stepped in to cover all our Halloween classes week beginning Monday 25th October. I had a call from the hospital to have a last minute cancellation to have a small procedure done on my eye that week which meant I could not teach for the week. Gaynor and Elaine – well done to pull off all that Halloween choreography at such short notice. Thank you so much, you did a great job. All the classes thoroughly enjoyed your efforts x
I am now fighting fit and back at classes from Monday 1st November. See you there!

It’s our annual Halloween Zumba Bash on Thursday 28th October 6.30pm at Civic Hall, Cottingham. Not to be missed. Witches, ghosts, devils horns etc most welcome! The playlist will consist of Halloween Zumba tracks that evening. All the well known Halloween tracks will be in there. Gaynor and I will dress the room up so we all get in the spirit of Halloween. A group of us are then going for a social drink in the Duke of Cumberland straight after the class if you would like to join us. The more the merrier! Remember we now have a simple pay as you go system so you can just turn up on the evening. Hope to see you. Katrina x
Our new Outdoor vibe class meets every Thursday morning 10.30am at Cottingham Sports Centre, Northgate and is proving to be very popular. We are on the enclosed Astro Turf pitch. Raining! no problem there is a spacious sports hall we can use during inclement weather. Socialise and exercise all in one go with all the benefits of the great outdoors. Lots of the ladies say they feel fantastic exercising outdoors and it sets them up for the day. Why not try it? Remember we now have a simple pay as you go system. The class is £4.50 and you can pay on the day. Hope to see you x
On Tuesday 28th September a small group of us did a Zumba Gold and Fitsteps display for the Older Peoples Partnership Hull and East Riding. The event was well attended. Fitness Vibe had a trade stand throughout the day and we received lots of enquiries about the classes after doing our little display.

Everyone who has entered this years fun Strictly Sweepstake will now have had a text letting them know which group they are in. There are 15 groups in total. A live draw was done on social media on Friday 1st October where this years celebrities were picked and random and allocated to a group. I then sent a group texts out the following morning so everyone knew which celebrity they had drawn. Check out this post showing which celebrity each group has drawn.
