What a fabulous turn out for our annual Zumba Gold Halloween Bash at Civic Hall, Cottingham. You all look fabulous. I had a lovely lunch with you all at the Hallgate Tavern afterwards. Thanks to Yannis at the Hallgate for organising a lovely lunch for us.

Fabulous Halloween Zumba Bash
We had our annual Zumba Halloween Bash on Monday 29th October. Thanks to everyone who turned up – you all looked amazing. Some fabulous costumes x Afterwards we all went to the Duke of Cumberland for drinks and a buffet. It was there that we drew the winner of our recent competition to win a monthly free class pass for November. Congratulations to Karen Kingett our lucky winner on the night.

This is great news, Fitsteps is featured in the October edition of Slimming World magazine! If you are a member of Slimming World grab yourself a copy from your group. The article features our very own Natalie Lowe, founder of Fitsteps giving a Cha Cha tutorial and highlighting the many benefits of dance on the body. It’s a great article. The magazine is on sale on the newsstands from 25th October and available at all Slimming World groups now. All great for promoting our fabulous Strictly Fitsteps classes x
STRICTLY FITSTEPS ABBA STYLE!
We all had lots of fun on Friday 19th October at our final Friday morning Mamma Mia Strictly Fitsteps Class. The two fabulous posters you can see were painted by our very own Suzanne Gibbins, as you can see she is a talented artist. I have loved teaching the Mamma Mia class and may bring it back again next August. Thanks to some of the ladies that dressed up 70’s style for the class. Our final Wednesday evening Mamma Mia Tribute Class is Wednesday 7th November 6.30pm – 7.15pm Civic Hall, Cottingham. Hopefully some of you will join me and dress in Abba style.

Zumba Halloween Bash Monday 29th October
Come along to Zumba as usual on Monday 29th October 6.30pm Civic Hall, Cottingham £4.30 …Devil Horns, Witches, Ghosts etc most welcome. There will be a full Halloween playli, still an effective workout but great fun!
We are then going across to the Duke of Cumberland for a drink and a buffet. £5 for the buffet (taking monies now at class). Hope you can all join me in this annual event x
World Ballet Day 2018
Tuesday 2nd October 2018 is World Ballet Day, so I thought I would share a little memory with you!
As a young dancer I was fortunate to meet the legendary Margot Fonteyn when she came to Hull New Theatre in 1976. Quite by chance my mum saw an opportunity and shoe-horned me into her dressing room!
It was the second and last time she ever came to Hull, the time before that was 1940. I would just like everyone to know what a beautiful, elegant, warm and welcoming lady she was who was willing to sit and listen to a young girls hopes and dreams as a dancer. I will never forget it.
So with that in mind, I hope you all get to enjoy the ballet within the next year x I hope to see the Nutcracker in London over the festive period.
