Helen our Fitness Body Instructor popped by this weekend to test the new resistance tubes. Get ready Tuesday evening Legs Bums and Tums crew to firm, tighten and tone now using resistance tubes as part of your workout.

Helen will be targeting all those problem areas that we wish were firmer! Strength work is so important as we get older and resistance tubes are ideal for this class.

Legs Bums and Tums runs every Tuesday evening 6.30pm at Civic Hall. All equipment is provided and lots of modifications are given by Helen, our very experienced instructor.

It’s our annual popular Quiz night on Friday 17th February 2023 from 7.15pm at Civic Hall, Cottingham. Not to be missed!

The evening includes a Fish and Chip supper from Papas (vegetarian pie option available) a super raffle and a bar service. The Quiz is always great fun and starts around 8pm. The evening finishes around 10.30pm.

Tickets are £14 and available to purchase at any Fitness Vibe classes now. This social evening is open to all Fitness Vibe members and their family and friends.

We will be having teams of a maximum of 8/9 people. Make sure you have a name for your team! No worries if you are on your own or just 2/3 of you, I will make sure I merge you with someone you know and introduce you all before the evening.

I would also like to give a big thank you to Phil, Adele, Jean, Gaynor, chef Andy and my husband Alan for all their help towards our fabulous Christmas Party. A night as successful as that does take a lot of me and effort and would be far too much of a task for one person alone, it really was a team effort. We all enjoyed ourselves and we were all really proud of the evening and plan to do the same sort of event next year.

That’s a wrap! Wednesday 21st December was the last Festive Class of the year, our fabulous Zumba Gold class. Thanks to everyone who has supported my Fitness Vibe Classes throughout the year I am very grateful to you all. Thanks to everyone who put towards my Christmas gift, what a lovely surprise.

Classes resume on Wednesday 4th January 2023. Merry Christmas everyone x

We had our annual Fitness Gold Christmas Lunch on Monday 19th December. This year we went to the Priory Inn, the food and service was excellent – highly recommended. They even managed to give me a couple of take out meals for a lady who requested them!

I would like to thank my lovely Fitness Gold ladies for my Christmas Gift, I am very grateful and plan to treat myself this week.

If you would like to join this lovely, social, exercise to music class in the new year we start again on Monday 9th January 2023. The class runs every Monday morning 11am at the Church of Ascension, Calvert Lane.

We had our Fitness Vibe Christmas Party night on Thursday 15th December at Civic Hall, Cottingham. The tickets were great value at just £15 which included glass of fizz on arrival, hot and cold buffet, entertainment, disco and a reasonably priced bar. It’s no surprise that the tickets sold out in just 4 days!

Adele, Gaynor and Jean helped in the afternoon to get the room looking party ready and it looked fantastic. The Civic Hall was unrecognisable!

The food was the usual high standard by Andy the resident chef and this year we had a selection of hot curries. It was great to do things a bit different this year – instead of our usual Christmas Zumba Class we all came dressed up ready to party. You all looked amazing!

Danny the DJ came recommended by a fellow instructor and he didn’t disappoint. The dance floor was full all evening. I’m sure everyone who attended would agree, we all had a great time. Fitness Vibe ladies really do know how to party! Special thanks to Phil, Adele, Gaynor, Jean, Andy the chef and my husband Alan for all their help and support on the evening for making our event as successful as it was, it was a big team effort.

We are having our Fitness Vibe Christmas Party on Thursday 15th December at Civic Hall, Cottingham. We are doing things slightly different this year and are not running our Xmas Zumba class as in previous years. This year we can all get a bit dressed up! Please note this event is now sold out. I am taking a reserve list in case anyone drops out so please see myself, Adele or Jean if you would like to be on the reserve list. Tickets were sold at £15.

Please arrive at Civic Hall no later than 7pm. Glass of fizz on arrival, cold and hot buffet, entertainment and a disco. The bar is open with reasonably priced drinks.

It’s that time of year again. We have our annual evening Halloween Zumba Class on Monday 31st October 2022 6.30pm, Civic Hall, Cottingham. Witches, ghosts, pumpkin tops most welcome!

All the playlist will be Halloween Zumba theme. Easy to follow moves, suitable for beginners.

Please note we are open throughout the year. So all Fitness Vibe classes run throughout the October half term school holidays.

Remember you can use your loyalty card at any of our Fitness Vibe classes so why not take advantage of this and try another class style or another venue?

Everyone who has entered this years fun Strictly Sweepstake will now have had a text letting them know which group they are in. There are 15 groups in total. A live draw was done on Wednesday 28th September on social media where this years celebrities were picked at random and allocated to a group. I then sent a group text out the following morning so everyone knew which celebrity they had drawn.
