It’s the annual Evening Christmas Zumba Bash on Thursday 13th December.  Come along to Zumba as usual that evening 6.30pm – 7.15pm Civic Hall, Cottingham,.  Festive tracks in the playlist.  Tinsel, Santa Hats, Elves most welcome!  Please note the class is £5 that evening as this includes a raffle ticket.  You are then invited to stay behind if you want to join me in a glass of bubbly and a buffet.  I am asking for £5 towards the buffet.  We will then offer drinks – Prosecco, Wine, Beer and soft drinks for just £1 a drink!  Hope you can join me x

I am offering an Unlimited Class Pass for December for £19.50.  Come along to as many Fitness Vibe Classes at Civic Hall, Cottingham for £19.50.  Represents excellent value.

If you attend twice a week it works out approx £3.25 per class, if you attend three times a week it works out approx £2.79 a class.  For four times it works out approx £1.77 per class and for five times a week – well that’s just £1.62 – bargain!

Please note loyalty cards no longer apply when using the Civic Hall Unlimited Class Pass.  Also the Thursday evening Xmas Zumba Bash is not part of the Unlimited Class Pass.

Still lots of classes up to the holidays so you still have time to look and feel great for the party season!

Here are the Christmas opening and closing times so you can prepare for the holiday season.  Please note I am offering a December Unlimited Class Pass for £19.50 which works out to be excellent value.

Fitness Vibe classes are running right up to December 19th.  Our last class of 2018 is Zumba Gold on Wednesday 19th December 10.30am – 11.15am Civic Hall, Cottingham, we are then closed for the holidays.

There will be a one – off “warm up” class on Thursday 3rd January 2019 Zumba with Gaynor 6.30pm – 7.15pm Civic Hall, Cottingham.  Please note this is not part of the January Unlimited Class Pass.

The full weekly schedule starts again on Monday 7th January 2019.

Ta – Dah!!  She did it!  Our lovely class member Catherine is now a fully qualified Fitsteps Instructor!  Class members have long admired Catherine’s grace and elegance when she takes the stage.  She has lots of experience in dance and has rediscovered her love of the art through Fitsteps classes.

I look forward to Catherine covering our Fitsteps classes from time to time.  I think she will be fabulous x  Well done Catherine x

On Monday 12th November we had our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning event at the Church of the Asensioin, Calvert Road.  We had our weekly keep fit session as usual 10.30am – 11.15am followed by coffee and home made cakes.  We also had a fabulous little raffle.  It was great that we managed to raise just under £150.

My good friend and fellow Instructor Tracy Hammond helped out at the event with her Wednesday morning keep fit ladies.  Special thanks to Tracy and her ladies for all her help x

We had our final Mamma Mia Strictly Fitsteps class on Wednesday 7th November.  Great fun and very effective.  Thanks for all your energy and smiles, you all looked amazing.  Thanks to those of you who dressed up for the occasion!  I have loved running with the Mamma Mia theme for the past couple of months and hope you have all enjoyed the classes.  We are now back to our usual Strictly Fitsteps class structure.  I am trying to pop some dances into our programme this term inspired by the current Strictly season on TV.  Remember we run our Strictly Fitsteps classes every Friday morning 10.30am and also the first Wednesday evening of the month.  All at Civic Hall, Cottingham.  Hope to see you there!

What a fabulous turn out for our annual Zumba Gold Halloween Bash at Civic Hall, Cottingham.  You all look fabulous.  I had a lovely lunch with you all at the Hallgate Tavern afterwards.  Thanks to Yannis at the Hallgate for organising a lovely lunch for us.

We had our annual Zumba Halloween Bash on Monday 29th October.  Thanks to everyone who turned up – you all looked amazing.  Some fabulous costumes x  Afterwards we all went to the Duke of Cumberland for drinks and a buffet.  It was there that we drew the winner of our recent competition to win a monthly free class pass for November.  Congratulations to Karen Kingett our lucky winner on the night.

This is great news, Fitsteps is featured in the October edition of Slimming World magazine!  If you are a member of Slimming World grab yourself a copy from your group.  The article features our very own Natalie Lowe, founder of Fitsteps giving a Cha Cha tutorial and highlighting the many benefits of dance on the body.  It’s a great article.  The magazine is on sale on the newsstands from 25th October and available at all Slimming World groups now.  All great for promoting our fabulous Strictly Fitsteps classes x
