A big thank you to Elaine Welsh and Gaynor Dent who kindly stepped in to cover all our Halloween classes week beginning Monday 25th October. I had a call from the hospital to have a last minute cancellation to have a small procedure done on my eye that week which meant I could not teach for the week. Gaynor and Elaine – well done to pull off all that Halloween choreography at such short notice. Thank you so much, you did a great job. All the classes thoroughly enjoyed your efforts x

I am now fighting fit and back at classes from Monday 1st November. See you there!

It’s our annual Halloween Zumba Bash on Thursday 28th October 6.30pm at Civic Hall, Cottingham. Not to be missed. Witches, ghosts, devils horns etc most welcome! The playlist will consist of Halloween Zumba tracks that evening. All the well known Halloween tracks will be in there. Gaynor and I will dress the room up so we all get in the spirit of Halloween. A group of us are then going for a social drink in the Duke of Cumberland straight after the class if you would like to join us. The more the merrier! Remember we now have a simple pay as you go system so you can just turn up on the evening. Hope to see you. Katrina x

Our new Outdoor vibe class meets every Thursday morning 10.30am at Cottingham Sports Centre, Northgate and is proving to be very popular. We are on the enclosed Astro Turf pitch. Raining! no problem there is a spacious sports hall we can use during inclement weather. Socialise and exercise all in one go with all the benefits of the great outdoors. Lots of the ladies say they feel fantastic exercising outdoors and it sets them up for the day. Why not try it? Remember we now have a simple pay as you go system. The class is £4.50 and you can pay on the day. Hope to see you x

On Tuesday 28th September a small group of us did a Zumba Gold and Fitsteps display for the Older Peoples Partnership Hull and East Riding.  The event was well attended.  Fitness Vibe had a trade stand throughout the day and we received lots of enquiries about the classes after doing our little display.

Everyone who has entered this years fun Strictly Sweepstake will now have had a text letting them know which group they are in.  There are 15 groups in total.  A live draw was done on social media on Friday 1st October where this years celebrities were picked and random and allocated to a group.  I then sent a group texts out the following morning so everyone knew which celebrity they had drawn.  Check out this post showing which celebrity each group has drawn.
