On Friday 12th September we had a surprise celebration for my sister Adele straight after our Fitsteps class at the Civic Hall, Cottingham. Adele was 60 on 17th September and also getting married to her longtime partner Phil the same day! Adele had no idea about our surprise celebration at all which was great! We surprised her on stage whilst doing the last track at the class. She was very shocked and emotional!

My husband Alan, Gaynor, Alison, Jean and Helen had been busy all morning behind the screen getting the bar area “party” ready. Approximately 60 Fitness Vibe ladies were able to make our celebration at 11.30am with bubbly and a buffet. Then from 1pm Phil, Adele’s partner and some close friends and family arrived to surprise her.

Fitness Vibe members did a collection and we presented Adele and Phil with a gorgeous basket for log burning along with a £200 voucher for Malyan Spout Hotel! We also had two wonderful cakes made by our Instructor Helen x

Thanks so much to everyone who put towards her fabulous gifts. Also thanks for keeping it a secret all month! What a great surprise!
